On a Friday afternoon in July Carol, Tony and I were in Danbury, Ct. for the NETTE Toy and Train auction. We drove by a carnival and I realized right away that we stumbled across the James E. Strates Shows. The reason that this means something is that other than Ringling Brothers this is the only other show that travels by rail. I knew if we looked hard enough we would find the train, and we did! The next day we dropped Tony off at the auction, took the camera and went to the carnival! First we walked a little of the train taking as many photos as we could. Next we hit the Midway. We photographed all we could, got some fresh squeezed Lemonaide and Elephant ears, chatted with the "carnies" and went back to the auction. Boy were we winners that day!
